Our Passion:

DYMK FIlMS comprises of young, innovative and dynamic minds that are set out to revolutionize the current state of Filmmaking and TV productions in Africa. Our passion is for visionary ideas that are well executed, that captivate and engage audiences irrespective of the delivery platform be it on television, film, internet or at a venue. We collaborate with creative agencies, artists, visionary brands and visionary directors, who trust us to bring their ideas to life. We value these partnerships, understanding that our clients give us opportunities to improve our craft, captivate and astound their audiences.

Production:

We combine the use of our experience, advanced filming techniques with high end gear. This means that the services provided achieve a level of quality previously reserved for big-budget productions at a cost effective price. DYMK's greatest strength is the ability to solve, create, develop and produce successful communication media and productions that perfectly tailor to a clients' brief. Our passion for quality, resourcefulness and the scale of our operation makes us unique in Africa.

Filming in Africa:

Africa remains largely untapped with vast resources in terms of beautiful locations, stories, arts and culture and its people, making it an ideal filming location. We have 5 years of domestic and international experience, working with international filmmakers and directors. This exposure has given us great understanding of the trade, making us a leading creative partner in Africa. Our desire is to best represent Africa and bring out authenticity through African eyes.

Directing and Cinematography:

We are a collective of directors and creatives who specialize in story telling through directing, editing and cinematography. We deliver a boutique of creative production services with the integrity and expertise of international standards at our core. Our objective is to create the best work and the best experience for all of our partners.

Pre-Production:

We partner with our clients to provide conceptualization services, scripting, visual development, sourcing of talent, locations and film licenses. Apart from our fabulous in house crew we also help to source crew and filming equipment tailored to meet the specifics on any project. We are well able to work on tight schedules, yet taking extra care to deliver even the finest of details on a project.

Post-Production:

DYMK provides consultancy and processing for all data-acquisition activities, covering shoot, editorial, colour grading, online and VFX. Our post-production services are built on creative excellence and cutting-edge technologies. We collaborate with our clients as partners, understanding that our clients give us opportunities to improve our experience, skill and craft as a whole be it in editing suite or colour grading. Colour Grading at DYMK combines enthusiasm, creativity and technical ability, ensuring consistency and protects the integrity of the project. Recently one of our editors, Ng'ethe Gitungo was in 2011 honoured with the Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAAs) BEST EDITING Award 2011 for his editing role in the feature film "Soul Boy". The film is the part of the Film-Africa Workshop, a collaboration between One Fine Day Films and Ginger Ink. Our artists help to shape some of the most exciting imagery on our screens.
